The movie starts with Emma Thompson, a widow who has just lost her husband. She travels to Lake Hilda, a popular place she and her husband visited many times when they were young.
She later gets caught up in serious trouble after running into a couple who plan to kidnap a girl for surgery because the wife is sick and needs a liver transplant. Emma tries to save the kid after getting caught in the mess.
She calls for help, but the couple kills them, and Emma realizes she must do everything to protect the child since she and her husband were old and had no kids. Dead of a Winter is a good movie. I rate it 6.1/10 and recommend you watch and enjoy it.
